Knight's Dinner@ Welcome Hotel

The Welcome Hotel has arranged a "Night of the Knights" Dinner for us. We have to eat like the Knights in the 15th, 16th century, ie. without any fork and spoon..just a knife and bare hands...with lots of food and drink...

All of us were given bib to wear as we were expected to throw all the bones and leftover on the floor like the knight did in the past....I am wearing a bib like Megan, with wine and beer...keke..

During the dinner, we have games like drinking with rules and regulation...

Haha...lastly, with all the rubbish on the floor...someone was being arrowed to clean the floor...

Goodnight...<26>

Panzer (Tank) Museum, Munster

During our journey to Panzer Museum in Munster (270km away), we learnt the importance of "Anti-freeze" wiper fluid during winter weather...keke...In Singapore, we usually top-up normal water but it did not work in Germany...Hence, the water became frozen and could not dispensed (choked) needed some maintenance, pour hot water, clear the ice in the tube, blow the tube, etc...Men at work...

Keke...while the men at work, I took pictures and trying to look gung ho without gloves, cap and winter clothing...it was -3 deg cal...after the shots, I quickly rushed to the car with full blast warmer...

Finally reached Panzer Museum, the picture above shows the previous West and East Germany flag...and there are many tanks during the WWI and WWII that were displayed here...The men's Toy...just some highlight of the well-known tanks that were in action during WWII...

The Sherman tank from Uncle Sam...and the King Tiger from Germany...

The Merkava from Israel...

Managed to get a rare Leopard 2 A6 mini model from the gift shop...

Foodies in Germany

This is my daily breakfast in Welcome Hotel, Yummy...German sausages, Bun with cheese and Nutella (Childhood chocolate)...with either Earl Grey or English Breakfast tea...
My typical western dinner buffet and of cos, the Dunkle beer was missing in this picture...keke...

Amsterdam

After more than 3 hours of driving, we have finally arrived at Amsterdam...however, the weather was unforgiving...terribly cold and windy...worse than Bad Arolsen...Here is the high class casino in Amsterdam...and it is just beside the well known HRC..

As you shop in Amsterdam, you will walk across numerous bridges as there are many layers of canals within Amsterdam...there are many Canal Cruise services available...note: not advisable to drive in Amsterdam as the roads are pretty narrow...cycling or walking is a better option. Managed to grab some magnets from the flea market...

Now the dark side of Amsterdam...keke...visited the Sex Museum and the "window shopping" street...Note: Photography is strictly prohibited along the RLD, hehe, that was the reason why the last picture was blurred...Our group concluded on why no photography allowed: it was either the ladies were too great or UGLY...you will see it for yourself when you visit the RLD...

Frankfurt

These pictures were taken from the well-known Iron Bridge (Eiserner Steg, 100 years old) in Frankfurt and there is river cruise service available along the Main River.

There is a flea market on every saturday (like SG's sungei road, selling secondhand stuffs) on other side of the riverbank. Yummy...German sausages...Can you spot me in the big picture?...

The frankfurters would gather at this place in the heart of the main city along Zeil Street (Shopping street) for a few glasses of their popular Apple wine and sausages (1st photo)...I had 1 glass of apple wine but didn't like to taste (2nd photo)...I prefer white wine...The German sausages are still the best so far (3rd photo)...they have wide variety to choose from..yummy...Can you see the Daddy feeding his baby (last photo)..so adorable...that is their way of life...

1st photo shows the Alte Oper (Old Opera House) and the nice scenery of Frankfurt City...
Geothestrasse offers lots of luxury brand for shopping...Bring more €€€...
