Munich City

Munich Inner City offers a couple of nice and grand buildings...such as the New town hall (Neues Rathaus - 1909)...This place is surrounded by nice restaurants, cafes & high end boutiques that attracts tourists as well as the Germans...

Hofbräuhaus Brewery

Day 2 in Munich, we had a guided city tour and visited Hofbräuhaus, a brewery since 1589. This place is one of the highlights during the OktoberFest in Munich...

This restaurant provides a beer mug rack for their many regular guests who use their personal and expensive beer mugs...The regular guests list can be found in their website at http://www.hofbraeuhaus.de

HaXnbauer

We had a feast in HaXnbauer which is a popular Bavarian restaurant in Munich City, can you imaging having guests flowing in at 9.30pm...we had the beef steak (€23), pork knuckle (€17.50), Ice Cream (€6.5) & Beer (€4)...(Oops..have put quite a fair bit of weight...)...The pork knuckle was the highlight and the pork knuckle was slightly better than the earlier one we had in Oberaudorf...Bcos it is freshly roasted...Yummy...A visit to HaXnbauer is a must if you visit Munich...remember to make reservation...

End of Day 1 in Munich...

Bayern Munich Stadium

After more than 6 hours of bus ride, we have finally reached the Grand Bayern Munich Stadium...which has the state of the art technology...we managed to get an up-close look in the stadium and also visited the players changing room, press conference room & the players assemble area before their match...Cool...
